About Us
Deirdre is an experienced personal development expert with a career spanning 20 years. She is the author of many training programmes covering personal and professional development at individual and team levels. She has run more than 1200 training and speaking events. She is passionate about people making the most of themselves through self-development.
After graduating from London University with an honours degree in Psychology, Deirdre began her career in training and development in 1984, working with large UK corporations across the retail, banking and sales sectors.
In 1990, Deirdre joined an international firm of management consultants where she worked with over 70 major UK, North American and European clients, specialising in corporate training, personal and team development, performance and project management. Deirdre moved to South Africa in 1995, where she spent 4 years working with a number of companies on financial performance improvement projects.
Returning to the UK, Deirdre was appointed a Director with a London-based recruitment firm in 1999, managing its contracts and consultancy business.
Having spent a significant amount of time in the corporate world and seeking an opportunity to develop her own business, Deirdre trained as a Life Coach in 2004. Her blend of corporate and personal experiences has brought about a unique coaching style, which is engaging, challenging and caring with a deep interest in what makes people tick. As a result, Deirdre set up Bowen-Cassie Coaching, providing professional business and coaching services to clients. Deirdre also provides group coaching workshops and professional training services.
Bowen-Cassie Coaching is dedicated to helping people transform their personal and professional lives successfully.
Deirdre is also a founding director of venture-Now, a partnership formed to provide business coaching to small to medium sized businesses.
